• The National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) is the national service organization dedicated to representing the national interests of consumer-owned cooperative electric utilities and the consumers they serve.


• The mission of the Georgia Electric Membership Corporation is to promotes and enhance the competitiveness of Member EMCs and their affiliate organizations; to assist individual systems in meeting their member/owners' needs; and to provide leadership, working jointly with these member systems, what will facilitate the creation and maintenance of a healthy government, business and community environment in which Georgia's EMCs and their member/owners can thrive.
